Biography:
Dr. Heather Bell provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on the diagnosis and management of ocular disease and dry eye. She is experienced in treating a wide range of conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and anterior segment disorders. She has extensive experience in both primary care optometry and urgent eye care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Bell earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS University School of Optometry after completing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology & Biotechnology and Biochemistry at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she graduated with distinction. She went on to complete a residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she received advanced clinical training in the management of complex eye conditions. During her training, she was inducted into both the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society in recognition of her academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to the profession.
A Massachusetts native, Dr. Bell enjoys staying active, exploring new places, and spending time with her family outside of the office. She is currently accepting new patients in the Concord and Westford offices of Lexington Eye Associates.
