COVID Policy

Announcement for our patients

Lexington Eye Associates is now open for urgent and non-urgent visits. Please review our PATIENT VISIT INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY RULES we have adopted to keep everyone safe and healthy

  • Due to COVID-19, Lexington Eye Associates will be seeing patients by appointment only. Please contact our office at 781-876-2020 to schedule an appointment.
  • We are making every effort to minimize contact, such as copying insurance cards and physically exchanging cash or credit cards. Patients should receive an email or text message ahead of their appointment to complete their registration and provide payment electronically. For your safety and the safety of our staff, we ask that patients complete the registration ahead of arriving to their appointment. If you are unable to complete the registration online, you will need to contact our office ahead of your appointment to complete the registration by telephone.
  • Patients will be pre-screened for any symptoms of coronavirus prior to their appointment and will be asked to reschedule if any symptoms are present.
  • Patients will be pre-screened for any contact with a known COVID-19 positive person or anyone being evaluated for COVD-19 in the past 14 days.
  • Patients will be asked about any international travel in the past 14 days. For patients who have traveled internationally, they will need 14 days in MA prior to being seen. If the patient’s visit is deemed urgent, then the patient can be seen if there is a negative COVID test on day 3 or later following arrival in the US.
  • All patients will be required to wear a mask (non-valve) while in our office.
  • No visitors will be allowed to accompany patients unless required for accessibility issues or for parents/guardians accompanying a minor.
  • All patients will be required to wear a mask (non-valve) while in our office.
  • No visitors will be allowed to accompany patients unless required for accessibility issues or for parents/guardians accompanying a minor. No siblings are allowed for pediatric visits.
  • Lexington Eye Associates, like many healthcare organizations, has a policy requiring all staff to be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine, unless the employee has a medical or sincerely held religious exemption. This policy required all staff had to be vaccinated no later than September 1, 2021.

We hope that by sharing these processes with you, you will be confident that Lexington Eye is prepared to care for you in a safe and welcoming environment.

Please do not delay your eye care as postponing care for an eye condition can be harmful. Annual eye and well visits are also important to prevent future issues. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely
The Physicians of Lexington Eye Associates

Lexington Eye Associates has a great procedure to keep their patients safe during this difficult time with Covid. We highly recommend Lexington Eye Associates to everyone.

SJ

This was extremely smooth from entry through the exam and leaving. Everyone was in masks. Clear about where to go and where to stand. It felt very safe. Dr. Kieval is a terrific eye doctor whom I trust implicitly.

MK

A great experience and even despite COVID, I felt very safe and they have efficient protocols in place for their patients. I travel out of my way to go here, and have been very satisfied with the care I’ve received. Dr. Lazzara and his team are the best and I look forward to continuing my care here.
