Meet Dr. Del Plato

Dr. Nedda Del Plato is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis and surgical management of cataracts, including refractive cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses. She also provides comprehensive medical eye care for a wide range of conditions, including glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Del Plato graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. She earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received the Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement. She completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at Boston Medical Center, where she was selected to serve as Chief Resident during her final year of training. 

Dr. Del Plato is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the New England Ophthalmological Society.

Originally from Lexington, Massachusetts, Dr. Del Plato is proud to care for patients in the community where she grew up. She is currently accepting new patients at the Lexington, Concord, and Westford offices of Lexington Eye Associates.
