Dr. Cheong attended State University of New York where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in cellular biology. Upon finishing her degree, she moved to Boston and received her Optometry Degree from the New England College of Optometry in 2021.
Her clinical training included internships at Boston Children’s Hospital, Perkins School For The Blind, Veterans Affair Hospital in Boston, NECO Center for Eye Care, and East Boston Neighborhood Health Center.
Dr. Cheong provides primary eye care with particular interest in specialty contact lenses, dry eyes, and ocular disease. She has expertise in low vision rehabilitation across differing populations using devices and resources to help improve quality of life.
